Web Design Rules for SEO

It is important to remember that search engines rank web pages and not websites. For this reason you should split your content and focus on a page at a time. This will allow you to target all of the elements per page and get the most out of your SEO efforts.

It is a good idea to have descriptive for your web pages with as few trailing slashes as possible. This will help to show the search engines what each page is about. Many web designers will use numbers and symbols for each page which means something to them but nothing to anybody else. Stay away from this type of structure.
